Teen car tracking seems to be accepted, and more real-time GPS systems hit the market.

Speed Nanny. This is not exactly a teen car tracking system, but rather a smart personal warning against excess speeds. As your vehicle moves, Speed Nanny is constantly working out your position and can calculate the speed you are traveling at. Speed Nanny can also easily work out the direction in which you are traveling. It stores a database of over 10,000 locations around Ireland where excessive speed poses an increased risk to you, other motorists, school-going children or pedestrians. Speed Nanny constantly compares your location and direction with these risk locations.
Depending on the type of location you are approaching Speed Nanny will give various voice alerts at 500 meters and 300 meters from the risk location or in many cases none at all unless you are over the applicable speed limit.
